Clutch Adjustment ?'s

Hi> I have a 2003 CBR 600RR. I noticed that the clutch has A LOT of play in it. It doesn't disengage until the lever is pretty much touching the bar. I tried adjusting the cable on the lever, but to no avail. Any pointers on what else to try? Sorry for the n00b question. Any help is appreciated!

turn your adjuster all the way in on the lever, adjust the nut on the motor then fine tune it at the lever until there is about an 1/8" of play or your own preference.

Clutch Adjustment ?'s

Yes there should be a fine adjustment on the lever itself and a coarse adjustment where the cable mounts to the clutch housing.

Yeah. I messed with the adjustment by the lever itself. But it didn't do anything?

The Lever Is Hanging There, Halfway, At Least A 1/2Inch Of Play Before It Even Starts To Disengage. The Lever Pretty Much Needs To Be Touching The Grip. So The Fine Adjustment Isn't Cutting It. Help? Please
