Up for sale, is a BRAND NEW NEVER USED Bell Star/Vortex Light Smoke Visor for sale. It's still in the unopened packaging. MSRP is $40.
Price: Light Smoke Visor $ 30.00
Reason for Selling: Just sold the Bell Star Cerwinske Carbon, but the buyer didn't want the visor, even for a discounted price. I'm hoping to sell this and get the Photochromic.
You are basically getting a brand new visor for a discounted price.
I suppose :-/ I sold the Bell Star Cerwinske pretty easily a month ago.
Thanks for the bump :shakehand I have not worn this helmet, so I can't say how this one fits on me. However, from my research, the 2010 model is supposed to fit true to size and has a neutral/round internal shape. When I had the XS, I loved the way it wrapped around my head and cheeks. It felt really light on my head and the liner was very comfortable.
How do the Bell's compare to the other brands as far as sizing?
Im not a medium and I dont have the cash for this premium helmet as Sin pointed out. But maybe someone on the fence will speak up and take it, its a great deal given its brand new!

Please bump it for me whenever you visit the page, because I'm a student and don't have the time to come on and bump it everyday (or 2-3 times a day). Thanks in advance guys/gals.
I have LOVE for this helmet. I'm rockin' the same lid. For anyone wondering about sizing I have a Small in this Carbon Cerwinske Bell Star and it fits like a Medium Shoei
How do you like the helmet? Some explanation as to how it "rides" would be greatly appreciated. I've never ridden in one, but have read a lot of review on them - all saying nothing but good things.
It flows more air then my Bell Vortex, and that flows a lot of air, to the point of too much on a cold day.
James is a good guy, and an honest seller, so no worries about dealing with him. You know I would grab this, James, if I didn't have the wedding coming up.
Thanks for the kind words and support, Chad :shakehand
Haha, if you didn't tell me about your wedding, I'd seriously PM you daily to sell it to you :drunk:Hahahah. Congrats man! Your wedding is way more important than getting a spare helmet. When's the big day? After it happens, post some pictures for your .net family to see.
Hahaha, that's true. Maybe you can have one of your friends buy this for you as a wedding gift? :drunk:Hahahaha.
It's coming up quick man. Congrats again! Hopefully we'll still see you on the forums after you get married. Ride safely and take care until the big day comes, and then even afterward :shakehand
i have the bell star C-note. Love it. I want the cerwinske, but i'm thinking i'd rather have the speed freak instead. Sorry. If the price came down, i'd considerate. Not enough of a gap from the original price. GLWS.
The Speed Freak is WAY TOO FLASHY for me. Even the Cerwinske is a major departure from my taste, but it looks really clean.
Yeah, if you bought it from me, you wouldn't be getting much of a deal. I sent a helmet to Canada a few weeks ago (gave the member a deal), but he ended up paying some $40 fee when they delivered it to him even though I listed the price of the package to be worth $100...
Thanks for the bumps guys :shakehand I do need them, I'm too busy with school to check on it and bump it all the time. If I know others are bumping it for me, I won't sign on as much and would actually focus on my classes better
It is a pretty nice helmet, AND it can be YOURS :ciao:
Up for sale, is a BRAND NEW, NEVER WORN, 2010 Bell Star Cerwinske Carbon (Medium) for sale. It is a killer looking helmet in person, and even in the pictures. It's been "handled" only for the purpose of taking the pictures. I will NOT be wearing it because the helmet doesn't fit me...
Price: $600 + Shipping (negotiable) or $630 with Light Smoke Visor
Reason for Selling: I CANNOT fit a Medium. I wear an XS, but they're back-ordered until late May. I got a deal on it so I figured I could sell it here for a small gain so that I can buy an XS from a vendor who has it in stock (instead of waiting for Bell to make new ones). My intention with selling is that the buyer will get some sort of deal. To my knowledge, most vendors will not sell the helmet for less than $635.
You are basically getting a brand new helmet for a discounted price. I don't want to ship it out of the US because I sold a 2010 Bell Star Cerwinske (non-carbon) a few weeks ago to a member from Canada and he got raped in Customs fees even though I lowered the listing price.
You got a point but top line protection , comfort , quality and style
do not come cheap neither does emergecy room visits God forbid
what you spend your money on is your choice
James
I know you value quality as much as i do with that being said do not worry man when the lid is meant to be sold its next owner will be knocking doors so keep the faith .
As far as comments they come and go people do not really understand or appreciate such quality gear until they invest into them and try them for themselves that is when the comments of belief start rolling in
As always, thanks for the words of wisdom Moeman :shakehand
Yeah, I feel the same way that you do. However, I wasn't bothered/offended by his comment in anyway. Haha, he's entitled to share his opinion (plus he did say "GLWS").
I know the helmet will sell eventually at my asking price, I just don't want it to sit in my room for too long :cursin:
Thanks Chad :shakehand Maybe a local pickup, but not sure yet. Gave him my number and haven't gotten a call yet. I even lowered the price a bit for him...We'll see. If not, then back to the bumps
