I've gone 155 a few times. On my 06 stock. Having a good helmet really helps with that kind of speed.

You weren't actually going 174, you know that right? Maybe 150.

10-15% speedo error

Corner speeds or straight line..?

I'd be interested more if people were talking corner speeds. Straight line stuff is boring..

Currently own:

96' 900RR | Jessica Alba (Wiseco/Erion/D&D/RaceTech/too many to list)

80mph on a 1/4 mile long, banked, one lane highway exit lane. Scary.

But the guy on the Duc in front of me was going even faster

I've seen an indicated 164 on my old 01 929 and a calculated 176 on my current 06 1kRR both up the front straight at Road America. I taped over the speedo the last track day so I didn't know but with my gearing, RPM and tire size there is a calculator that will tell you.

Fastest corner was 110 through the carousel at RA as well.

I don't play speed games on the streets.

yeah its fun to go fast but there is a time and a place for everything.. i guess i cant say much cause i go quite quick pretty regularly but i feel better knowing im fully geared.. does matter much tho if your on public roads ie freeway.. you go down at 80+ with other cagers around going fast chances are you aint gonna be going away from that one in one piece

How fast?

190mph on a Kawasaki 1400.
188mph on CBR1000.
165mph on CBR600RR.
Things change after you pass 170. Not something I'd do again.
