How many miles do you get per tank?

I just bought an 05 RR not long ago and just wondering what you guys are getting out of a tank for miles. I was thinking that I should be getting more then I am so maybe Im not filling the tank up all the way plus when I get down to one bar left on the guage I always get nervous b/c Im not sure how far I can go on that last bar.

I've got as much as 140 before the light started flashing. Usually I start planning on a fill-up around 100-110, but it only takes about 3 gallons and it's a 4.5 gallon tank. Theoretically it would go about 155 miles and be bone dry.

ok not to bad then, my last tank I got about 135 miles and not going to far on the last bar.

So the guage will start to flash when your getting low? Anyone know how far you can go on that before your bone dry?

yes, the bar will flash and i believe at that point you have a gallon left (it's in the owner's manual but i'm too lazy to check)

I have noticed I am great on the milage as long as I am doing road trips at 60ish 44-47mpg... when I go on the long road to cruces and the Speed Limit is 75 +5 I get not the best 37-40... maybe. Gas tank totals for both are close... 165 is my avg. but when I go down to cruces it is about 135 for the tank.... mind you that is when the light starts blinking.

actually i regularly get about 165.5mi per tank and that is with some spirited riding and when i fill back up it only goes to 3.8 gal.

getting back in the game.
