Is my bike considered ugly????

After having my 13ym repsol for a week now, iv been doing some online reading about it, and I keep seeing many coments about how ugly it is. That it looks like an old r6....

Do you guys consider the older cbr's better looking???
Is this latest model seen as the ugly sibling???

I bought it, party because I thought it was beautiful... especially compared to my old 2000 r6 or 92 nc30...

And even now looking at the competition (r6/gsxr6/kwac) I still think I picked the right bike for looks..
Even if nobody agrees with me....

I miss 2 stroke....

I think CBRs got really ugly after 2006. I hope the 2017 250rr design gets adapted into a 600rr. Love those hard angles.

Down with the arrogant.

lol

people just hate on the the '13 because it was just an aesthetic update yet again, while they were expecting more from Honda. That's all.

I think the new headlights are kinda cool...

You have a absolutely gorgeous bike. After my 2007 I wanted a 2013 repsol but the price they were asking was crazy (so I got my next best choice a 2013 tricolour)Your bike is rare and a work of art.Lots of little repsol stuff you can add to it as well, repsol grips, repsol brake reservoir covers, repsol levers, repsol jacket and helmet.I'm sure once you get out more on it you will see how many people admire it and look at it.Lucky guy!

The hate for the '07 was pretty strong here when it was first announced. It was the last real update though, and a great one. I loved my '06 after removing the tribal crap, but the '07 ended up being a MUCH better bike.

I have literally never heard anyone call them ugly until this thread. They've been out for 10yrs.....yeah I think your good. Besides, who cares what people think? I ride an f'ing banana seat for crying out loud.

06 F4i- Yoshimura RS-3C, Racetech springs and valves, Ohlin's rear shock, steel brake lines, 520 conversion. 82k miles and counting.....
08 600RR- Stripped trackbike. CRG shorty brake lever, goodridge front brake lines.

Holy ****, you were not kidding...

The All-New 2007 CBR600RR: Pictures and Specs

I agree with you, I think the main issue with the 13+ is that honda made no real changes to the bike (other than the forks really). The fact is the brand new 2017 cbr600rr's are SLOWER than the 2007 cbr600rr's thanks to the emissions...

Look are subjective, I don't care for them, kinda looks like a neanderthal. But I still think the rest looks really good, and in person I admit the whole bike looks better as a whole.

I think it looks awesome @kellya86. I had wanted a Repsol since 2007. Its even better with the newer wheels. I need to see if I can get some of those wheels on my 08.

First time rider over 40. Finally made it!

Some people truly dont care. But the majority of the population cares very deeply what other people think, despite what they might say.

Why else would so many people post pics of their bikes on here? Just fishin for compliments and acceptance.

You'll always find folks who disagree if you look enough. Same goes for those that agree. If you let your opinions get swayed by some internet dwellers, you didn't originally have a firm belief in the first place.

If you think it's a good looking bike then everyone else can suck it.

Personally I'm not much of a fan of the 07-12 look. I can only describe it as , well, cute. When the 13 came out it made me happy.

i don't think the 13+ is necessarily an ugly bike. it follows the trend in the market to having the headlights sloping back towards the bike instead of out from it (think panigale), and i'm not too fond of that. but overall it's fine.

the repsol part i'm not big on though. race replicas were cool until chinese plastic flooded the market and every smashed up zip tied bike became a telefonica edition, or repsol, or castrol or whatever. totally killed it for me. i had a castrol rep rc51 that i did professionally (oem plastic, professional paint, proper decal kit), and i thought it was awesome for about a year, but it wore off. i look back at it now as sort of tacky.

but so long as you like it i don't see what the big deal is.

Personally, anything post 2012 I consider ugly.

I like the 03-06 model the best, but would settle for an 07-12 due to more power.

2013-2015? Nope.

Just like the 1krr's post 2012, looks like they've been punched in the face.
