600 RR 2006 kmh/mph

Hi guys
I've been looking everywhere, but i can't seem to find the correct answer
I have a 2006 Movistar edition CBR 600
I just moved from Europe to the Uk and I need to change the speedo to MPH, i know some versions allow this conversion to be done by pressing a combination of the buttons on the speedo, I think I've tried all of them without luck
the manual states that the 2005/2006 normal version doesn't support this, only the "E" type does, but when I google which ones are "E" types, mine shows as one
Any ideas?
thank you

press the select button until you are at the trip A menu. then press reset for about a second then release it. if you press it too long it'll reset the trip, if you don't press it for long enough nothing will happen.

i verified this method on a canadian 07, but suspect it will work on other km/h models.
