My $.02: Helpful details that should be listed in this forum

I love looking for stolen bikes because nothing would make me happier then crushing a thief's skull in after finding out they were on a stolen bike. This new part of the forum would be especially helpful if you include your location in the title. To be frank, although I feel sorry for anyone who has their baby stolen, I don't want to weed through a ton of posts to see which bikes to look out for in my area. A pic, notable damage and VIN would also be helpful because we don't need any false alarms. Also, please keep us posted on the status of your bike. If you file an insurance claim, please let us know what you get for it (if you don't mind), that way we can see what values insurance companies are using for fair market value. I think that this forum can be a valuable tool. I know I tend to notice rr's more than any other bike because I am partial to them. Hopefully we don't get too many posts in here.

I think everyone should put their city and state in the thread title instead of "stolen pheonix." It would make it easier for people to look and see if its close to them and easier means more people would look!

It's good that we have a post like this so that other fellow RR riders can look out for one another. Great idea!

You know what's not a great idea? Digging up a three year old thread.

About the bump? Laugh at you for thinking you're awesome.

About a stolen bike? I would never post it here. If it gets stolen, I don't want it back. I want a new one. That's why I have good insurance.

So if your wife got kidnapped, you don't want her back? You want a new one?

I look forward to a new bike every two years, I'm keeping my wife. Your post is pointless.
