If you're running rich, try the pair-valve delete mod. May or may not fix problem fully, but it wouldn't hurt either.......pm me results if you don't mind

Additionally (and I'm sure its way different with our Pciii's) but my k-pro tune was almost $600 and took about 4-5 hours to do, not to mention waiting almost 2 months to get an appointment. why would I give that away for free?

What does it cost to get aour bikes dyno'd and a map created on the pciii anyway?

it cost me about 400 to get a custom map for my bazzaz here in cali (woulda been $350 but coolant clamp busted doh)

Most of the people in this thread probably lost power when they added the PC3. Know what you're buying, and why you're buying it. Get the mapping done the right way.

Once you put someone's "custom" map in your PC3 you now have a vague guess at the mapping for your bike.

Yes, I know it's an old thread but people need to get educated on how to use this type of device.

Wouldnt mind a base map for a 03 with full yosh RS-5 exhaust with a BMC race filter at an approximate elevation of 3650 feet?

I do have the head milled/decked too along with a modest port job but Ill tune or pay for a tune to tighten up the AF ratios for that.

It's a damn shame that one has to go this route to get a basic map from this forum.
Makes me miss 1krr.net

Here's the problem.
Not a lot of shops know how to do a proper dyno tune.
Then in my case. I haven't a firkin clue where to start looking for a shop that can local to me.
That's why I'm on here searching rather than the dynojet site. Cause those maps do exactly what u mentioned.
So all I want is a basic map that smooths out the stock throttle and maybe just maybe gimme 3-5 hp.
That's not too much to ask. But people wanna be misers with their maps.
I would've gone bazzaz but I'm resisting the urge to spend big on This bike. Very difficult stuff man. It's so easy to go crazy because I know how to hook these Hondas up. But I'm fighting it.

I haven't read this thread yet, but I will reference it when I install my K &N air filter and decide which slip on to go with. More than likely 2 Brothers.

Hey guys..

I've had my UK CBR600rr 2009 with stock air filter, Power Commander V, O2 sensor eliminator, and Akrapovic slipon custom dyno mapped. It was by A&M motorcycles in Hertfordshire who did an amazing job for 150 (ask for Shane, who spent hours and >50 runs tuning it).

Fuel: super unleaded 97 RON Shell,
Air temp (unfortunately, one of the hottest days of the year: 27 deg C)

New HP: 109 bhp, much more immediate power delivery with smoother throttle response , better for riding in traffic and for opening up!

Please PM me if you would like this PCV custom map file. Also have the dyno graph pics.
