It's black ceramic. I'd like to find a stainless if I could. Just because the pipe from my 2Bros slip on is stainless. Unless I get the stainless pipe sprayed black
I have a stainless yoshi and the black decat pipe. Tbh the decat pipe is mostly hidden behind the rearset snd fairing, but I don't think it looks odd anyway.
Got my mjs pipe in. Can't wait to get this bad boy on. After that dyno and tune.
Here's a question thou. Is it bad to run the bike without tuning it? Pipe in going on Thursday but can't get on to the dyno to get tuned until next week.
Do you have a pcV or similar installed already? If so, you can use one of the maps from the dynojet website. Try the closest map to your setup. Most maps for full system will be close. You could try a few and see which is smoothest until you can get on the dyno.
You can just use the cable that came with the pcV to upload the desired map into the unit. It's worth looking into as you really don't want to run the A/F ratio too lean.
Check YouTube or the dynojet website for video tutorials.
Hmmmm. Interesting. I don't have an extra wire with my PV5. I dont recall it coming with one anyways lol. The only wire I remember is the one main harness that's connected to the PV5
Ok so I had my mjs pipe installed. Sounds soooo much better now. BUUUUT here's a question it seems that where the mid pipe from my slip on meets the mjs cat delete pipe a little exhaust comes out the joint. I have the clamp on nice n tight but it's like the mjs pipe is a lil off on the bend. Just ever so slight. Any ideas?
Well mjs cat delete pipe installed love the way my 2Bros slip on sounds and feels minus a pin hole leak where delete pipe meets slip on pipe. Nothing sealant wo t fix. Now it's time to get my bike dyno and tune/mapped.
