A few people have done side exhausts before. You can search the forum for side exhaust or side exit exhaust. Some did it better than others. Two more recent builds that did that were by members Wibbly and Buckley. Wibbly's is more of a superbike style exhaust where Buckley's is the super short, super loud GP sort. Both require some skilled fabrication work but generally people it one of two ways.
1st method- start with a set of aftermarket full system headers. Arrow is popular as they market & sell the headers alone. Some manufacturers don't sell the headers separately from full system. From there you'll have to have a someone cut the collector behind the sensor bung and weld on a custom mid pipe that places your chosen muffler at the desired position.
2nd method- similar to first but cheaper and less reversible if you change your mind later. You just use the stock header and cut it off post collector then also have someone fabricate & weld on a mid pipe (including welded on sensor bung) for your muffler.
Search users Wibbly and Buckley for their bike builds. Lots of pics and info.
I'm trying to complete the overall Moto GP look pal
Fast and hard
