Hello,
I explain my problem.
I have broken a valve on my cbr 600 rr 2010, and valve has damage the cylinder.
Of course, it's too important to repair the cylinder.
I searched a new crankcase on the web, but nothing.
After read a lot of information, it show that engine of hornet 2010 was developpe on cbr engine base.
My question is :
Is it possible to take hornet crankcase to replace my defect crankcase?

How much is this going to cost and prolly will not work but I cant say for sure..

Look in the for sale section theres a motor for 700 bucks and it would only take 8 hrs to swap it in the frame. Much easier and prolly around the same price. Plus unless your a master mechanic. Swapping a crank case can easily be screwed up..

Then sell your damaged motor for $200 imo

I fitted a Hornet bottom end in my CBR 600 2007 The stator cover is different on the hornet casing
There is no Knock sensor fitting on the hornet engine and the clutch cover has a rubber inside to reduce noise
Everything else is the same
Make sure it has a place to mount the knock sensor and that you get the correct stator cover because the magneto is also different
Hope this helps
