I tried searching for this already but can anyone think of a nice helmet that matches the graffiti graphics on the CBR? I'm thinking of just a plain flat black helmet but thats kinda boring.
Yep... that was the one I was thinking of Tripage! Thats a perfect helmet. I used a flat black shoei and that worked well but the one that atizzle linked too is nice!
Some 2009 Shoei RF1000s have a very graffiti look to them (also the rf1k is an awesome helmet.)
Take a look at the Camino TC5, Crest, and Diabolic Nightwing: http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Categories.bok?category=Shoei+RF-1000+Helmets+|+Shoei+RF-1000+Helmet
Thanks for the replies guys. I brought a EXO-700 with a black and grey graphic, I think it goes very well. I might pick up another helmet at a later date but the EXO is a great helmet and that fog-free shield works wonders.
Keep the suggestions coming though so others have something to refer to.
I was thinking of that icon domain... but maybe its just me, but I consider a few icon helmets to be too bulky. And I would have loved a rf1000, or a flat black x11, but those are out of my price range- So i settled with the vr2r.
I just got my kbc vr2 stealth last night. I bought a mirrored visor yesterday as well.... as soon as i got it, i opened up the box... and slapped on a mirrored visor. Its not as heavy as people make it out to be, but it isnt the lightest helmet either. The padding is a nice snug fit, and the field of vision is alot better than my old kbc. the pin lock system on the visor made it VERY easy to swap visors (took literally 1 minute). The pin lock system is plastic... so im sure eventually it is going to wear out... but its a good thing my new visor came with a spare "pin lock system" I thought I had scratched it, but there is a small 1 1/2 cm overspray of clearcoat... its only noticable unless you tell someone though. But the graphic and finish are great other then that. Its snell and DOT approved.
I got mine 180 shipped from ebay. . Cycle gear wanted 230-240. i can post a picture later.
your fiance has good taste :five:
throw a tinted visor on it! haha. As soon as I got mine, I swapped shields. You can get replacement ones for 30 at your local cycle gear. They literally take 2 minutes to swap.
