A stars Atem jacket?

Ive got a pair of apex a stars pants that I picked up at yellow devil cycle gear in Long Beach, CA.

Great place btw, they sell used gear and consignments. I picked up these pants for $160 brand new! They were the display model. Also got a pair of sidi boots for $180, what a steal.

ANYWAYS, I was looking for a review of the new atem jacket as I'd love to mate them to these pants for my first willow springs track day the 25th.

thanks guys!

STG and revzilla have reviews up I think. As they are A*, they should mate up fine.

Of course we have a video on it! Awesome jacket BTW. I've been selling a ton of the Atem suits, I really dig the styling on this thing.

Looks like the Astars Atem jacket was really run through the ringer and rose to the occasion. May definitely have to look at getting one.

I have the full Atem suit and i'm glad that Astars finally started making their suits better looking. I was not a fan of previous designs. The new suit has a great fit and finish, plus lots of cool tech features. I got lots of compliments on it at the track.

I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to report that I just received my Atem jacket today and it is hands down the best jacket I have owned. Jackets that I have previously owned were: 2 GMX motion jackets (old an new versions) and a Dainese superspeed perforated leather jacket. The A*s fit is similar to that of the RS Taichi. The build quality I would have to say is in favor of the Atem but that should be expected given the $150 price premium you pay for the atem. The Dainese super speed's build quality is superb with supple leather that smelled great! Unfortunately the Dainese didn't quite fit me right and the comfort level was definitely below both the atem and gmx motion. The sleeves were a little too tight and the leather cuffs would bunch up with gauntlet gloves causing further discomfort in the elbows and limiting my motion around the chest and shoulder area. I guess this is the euro fit that everyone keeps referring in regards to Dainese products. All jackets were in size 44us/54euro. The atem much like the gmx motion fits snug but not too snug

For reference my dimensions are: 5'11' 200lbs 44inch chest 34inch waist. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of the Alpinestars's Atem jacket A*'s has definitely hit a home run with this jacket.

^You've had some really wicked jackets. That's an awesome quick review of them and the sizing reference at the end will probably prove useful for most people. Nice man.

How much did you pay for it? The reason I ask is because man... those jackets are probably my car payment.
