I thought the system would be more lenient there than in North America since many people have exotics and race etc. for fun. As well, vehicles are more important and fun than alcohol there. I was doing some research this year on moving there and I think they recently got that street racing/stunt driving law and got the idea from Canada.
1) I think swerving back and forth helps reduce the tires from becoming squared.
2) Hard acceleration and hard braking would likely burn more gas and wear your brakes more, as well as possibly look like one was racing or showing off to some uneducated people.
Q. What would have happened if you don't pay the bail? Do they just keep you in there for life if you can't pay it?
