Depends on what you want to do...

The cruise down Beeline highway is great scenery, and a lot of open road, loop that around Saguaro lake & the river and it's a nice ride.

If you want twisties, there's always the Tortillia Flats run. The road quality sucks ass though, and the cars can't seem to stay in their own lane, but the ride itself is fun...

Then I've heard about Mt Lemon down in Tucson. Haven't done that one yet, but plan on it maybe later on this summer.

Another one I want to do eventually is a run up to Lake Havasu to check that out... Again, maybe later this summer...

Oh, and welcome to AZ....

If any of you are willing to make a day (or two) out of it, I would suggest trying out US-191 headed north through Apache Nat'l Forest. Over 100 miles, but I'm not quite sure if the roads are perfectly smooth or not. I have read a lot about it on other sites, and plan on trying out this summer...

Used to live in Tucson, and of all of the rides, Mt. Lemmon is the best by far.

Just moved here. I'm always down to ride and I'm up for any distance, not just a cruise around town. Shoot me a PM.

I want to do a ride this weekend, maybe Mt. Lemon or SRC?

Let me know if anyone is around to do it, I want to meet people to ride with!

I'm no where near AZ but I absolutely agree the roads in the Gila National Forest are awesome for riding, I went in my rental car from Fountain Hills up to Payson for an interview and there are some nice curves, would have loved to ride them if I could

Well,it turns out they did not have funding to open a position/ an open position available.... the interview went very well, passed everything but their budget is the culprit

Bikes all I got. I'll either be on the RR or I'll have to take the pedal bike.
