Riding on Highbeam all the time

Will there be a potential risk if I keep it on all the time? Does it hurt the battery/electric system in anyway?

There is no harm its built tobe used one thing you can do to conserve the battery is to turn the high beam off when you sit idle at red lights specially if the bike temp reach 221F which in turn would cause the fan to turn on to cool down the bike at such stage turn the high beam off

Thanks for the quick reply. Also while we're at it, a lot of people say turning the bike off completely at stop signs is necessary to keep the engine from wearing, is that true?

^ i would never turn the bike off at a stop sign, simple reason being if you need to get out of the way in a hurry (someone on there cell not paying attention) your a sitting duck sort of speak
Edit: turning your bike off at stop signs is necc to keep the engine from wearing?? huh? where or who did you hear this from? stoping and starting an engine is what wears it

either or, dont matter. The only time turning your bike off might be necc is in heavy traffic (dead stopped traffic etc) and you dont want to lane split :P

lol... A minute or two of idling is not going to affect engine wear whatsoever. The engine can stay cooler if you leave it running so the fan can kick on.

Not true at all that is more in needed wear and tear on the engine

Turning off a bike at a stop light is stupid. The hotter the engine, the less wear. Anything between 170 and 230 is perfect. Also shutting the bike off will cause a moment of lost oil pressure.. Which will wear the engine more than anything.

Back on topic though, the electrical system is designed to handle all onboard accessories. There's never a need to limit use of the lights or the fan. If anything it will keep the circuits alive.

You can always lower the high beam to match the low beam this way you won't blind any one very easy to adjust it

Take the triangle black pieces that are to the left and right of the head lights and behind them you will see the adjusting screws turn them clock wise to lower the beam and anti clock wise to raise the beam
