There are reasons why you aren't allowed to ride in pedestrian areas. Falling into a boat isn't really one of them, but anyway, this puts a smile on my face for all the times some doofus on a bike, or more likely a scooter, thought he had the right of way on a sidewalk.

He had no idea how wide his bike was, no0b. At least he landed in the boat.

moto.it says it was a French journalist testing the new Yamaha FJR! His name is Laurent Cochet according to the article below. Here's a link to a Google translated version:

He came out of it with a broken thumb and bruised pride.

LMAO I've always wondered ....why were they filming him? I mean, it definitely doesn't appear to be fake but kind of odd that this happened on camera.

What are the odds....

Repost! Lol

They were doing a road test for it and this why they were filming. He came out with a broken thumb. And of course bruised pride.

Lol caught his side bag on a post! How great! Should have been paying attention, especially riding his bike over a pier. Would be super sketchy! Unfortunate for himself and the boat owner though.

Just watched it again. Guess it wasn't a pier after all.
