Crank Position Sensor

Hey guys, just had a quick question.

I see that you are supposed to disconnect the crank position sensor before removing the crank cover

I forgot to do this, and i did it after removing the cover and possible moving the crank some while removing the pressure plate.

What problems should i expect from doing this once i get everything reinstalled and try to turn the engine over???

please help, i'm afraid i could have messed something up.

nothing is wrong. All the sensor does is know the location of the crank from the (i don't know what it is called) thing on the crank. The only thing that can mess this up is to remove this part from the crank and put it back wrong. But it only goes on one way, you'd have to severly beat it with a hammer to put it on wrong. The sensor just picks up the pulse from that unknown named part. You're ok. Just to ease your mind, I just rebuilt my entire engine and just bolted the sensor back on and everything has run just fine.
