"The final race in Valencia will be “very emotional,” Rossi said, “because I find a good atmosphere and good people to work and to make the race together. And I always make a group with my team, but not for choice, but because is like this. Maybe it’s my character. For sure it will be very hard to say ciao to the guys. But at the same time we’re not able to achieve any good results so is a good decision for me and I cannot wait to ride the M1.”
He also talks about Stoner being the only one to "master" the Duc
Naw man its all good, Blu is just keeping me honest. Sometimes I look a my posts and I'm like WTF dude that took 15 mins to write and spell check and probably like 2 ppl are going to read it. LOL.
Yamaha voicing their displeasure of Motegi 2010 is horse ****. Sure Vale took points from Lorenzo but keep in mind Pedrosa was out of the race so Lorenzo pretty much won the title already. Also..he spent most of the race behind Rossi...he decided to pass him when he could have simply hung back and collected the points. Fair play to Lorenzo since this is racing but they can't fault Rossi for fighting for the podium

Although I don't always agree with your pro-stoner, anti-rossi views, your probably the most up to date moto gp person on the site greendoor. And I read just about all of the post I see. Sometimes I wonder if you have a job in the field. I'm thinking a paid PR guy for HRC lol.
I see what you're saying Red, that and he has very little pressure on him, when Vale went to Duc he had the entire world wanting him to win on his shoulders, a lot was expected of him on a Duc it was supposed to be a match made in heaven
Ok, that I can understand. And I think Rossi will have even more pressure next season to perform better on a Yami since he's won on them before and everyone will be expecting the same results as in the past, but only time will tell. Looking forward to it.
On the contrary, I think if you're a skilled and talented rider like Rossi you can make things work, and if they are not working you have more experience explaining to the tech team what and why it doesn't work (obviously that didn't happen for him on a Duc). Look at Kimi Raikonen in the f1, such a talented driver, give him a shopping cart and he'll still finish on the podium.
I do hope that with Audis funding now they can get all the bugs fixed and Dovi has a successful season, just hope people don't start sayin "well look at that, why couldn't Rossi do that last season?"
Dovi's strengths are similar to Vale's though. Late braking and corner entry have been his strengths. Shoddy front end with chronic understeer undermines that.
Remember, 04 M1, him riding colin's SBk bike faster than Colin himself when they did suzuka 8hrs, him posting a faster time on the yamaha SBK bike when he was injured than the fastest lap in the SBK race the day prior. He can ride around problems. Duc's problems were just so far from his strengths.
