Made fibre bracket to hold clocks and nose fairing. Manual torque requirements on 8mm bolts is 12Nm, fibre mounting hole had a small crack at 18Nm.
Running on race bike since March 2016 and completed 3 race days without any cracks or vibration.

As an example, the Honda CBR 600 RR 03-06 OEM bracket weighs 494g and the fiberglass one weighs 354g. It might not be as strong as the OEM version (metal vs. fiberglass), however, it is much much cheaper!

A side note: This is meant for race bikes and not street bikes.

Import cost is not too bad and we all know if you do racing it is a costly sport.

I like to experiment with fibre plus it has a very high threshold depends on the application for use. To make the fibre bracket cost me a 1/3 of an aluminium bracket and now I carry a spare every time we go racing.

Busy making a ZX10 bracket.
