So i just put in MOTUL 7100 10W-40 Full Synthetic

2008 CBR600RR

What is the Interval for a full synthetic oil on these bikes.

I have read TOOO MANY threads and there are too many opinions.

Just need a few answers from people running FULL synthetic oil on these bikes

2000 Miles?
4000 Miles?

7000 Kilometers?
etc

I normally change my oil every 5000km. In saying that, I opted for semi-synthetic as it is cheaper, and at the end of the day (regardless), clean oil is good oil.

So for me 5000km interval seems good (even with dino oil).

8000 miles/ 12800 km as per the manual for road riding only.

But if you tend to stay above 8k rpm constantly then you might want to change it sooner

This is Motul 7100 after 1600KM of track riding only; it's very black and I don't recommend leaving it until that colour.

I do all my bikes every 6000km regardless of using semi or full synthetic for road riding.
Or every 4 track days on the track bike.

I use amsoil full synthetic.. And change the oil every 5000miles. You can get may be 1000 more miles but won't recommended that and I haven't heard anyone saying otherwise. I have seen ppl doing upto 9000 miles on full synthetic, but thats not good for your bike. So 5000 miles from a good synthetic (amsoil) I will say is a safe bet.
