Tripage 1k mirrors installed on 2008

Just installed my 1k mirrors from @tripage and they look awesome! They look fantastic and the quality is really good. I haven't tested them on the road yet for vibration, etc. but they look awesome here in the garage!

They were expensive I know, but worth it as they completely make the front end look amazing! My bike literally looks like a bigger bike now. Sooo worth it!

Also the leds are bright! Definitely going to increase visibility and safety.

I know! I cannot stop staring at my bike now. :)

I remember when I ordered them I got cold feet, thinking "man I just spent over $300 on MIRRORS!" and during the install it was taking longer than I expected, there were no directions, but basically the mirrors fold up past parallel to reveal the underside bolts. Before I figured it out I was getting really worried.

But once it was all together and I stepped back and looked at it I was in love. :D

$300 is justified because they are added safety. i cant trust my flushmounts are visible enough for on coming traffic..

Glad you like them. Usually if we don't include instructions there is a how to or install of some kind on the website. Trying to save on paper installs as much as possible that way info is readily available.

How much/where can I get the adapter base for the mirror?
I have the 1krr mirrors installed but using a piece of foam to fill the bottom.
Would be nice to find some solid base filler.

So much stuffs I wanted to buy, so little money...Damn it! :D

Holy crap Danny.. I'm so frickin jealous right now... been lusting after those mirrors, but like you, kept shying away because of the investment.. seems like it was the move to do.. now you need the LED kit to match the beautiful pure light.

Thanks Dafobra lol. Yep... pretty much how it goes, spend money on one mod, then you gotta do the other! Definitely going to get the LED headlights next winter, along with a few "final" mods... bike is about 85% complete :)

HAHAHAHA I love it when people say this.... There is always that new thing you gotta have. Whether it be a new gadget or fancy race tech that just dropped in price, I never label anything I have as "Complete"

I got the Ducati Mirrors, with the led blinkers on them as well.

HERO - I like the way your mirrors look, it does give a cool look to the bike. congrats.

Hey MotoGrunt, do you have to do anything drastic to mount those Ducati mirrors?

No its pretty straight forward from what I remember.

What I like about the Tripage is not only the look they give, but the added safety and visibility.

Can you install ANY cbr1000k mirrors on a 600 without having to add any spacers or anything?

-Flush Mounts/Integrated Tail Light
-Gear Indicator
-Woodcraft Clip ons/Rearsets
-Two Bros Carbon Slip On
-MJS Performance Cat-Delete Mid Pipe
-Block Off Plates/Pair Removal
-Gutted Intake
-Bazzaz ZFI Fuel Module
-Superlite RS7 520 Kit
-EK MVXZ 520 Chain

-30 other things that don't affect perf.

I have seen it done but the base will not be flush. I think it will throw the look off quite a bit. Not sure if Tripage will start selling the base by itself for those that already have the 1k mirrors.

Are we there yet?!
