white seat cowl on black and white 2016

I got a white seat cowl for my black and white 2016 and I like it the more I look at it.
However, I have no style so does it go alright with the decal pattern on the bike?
Should I get a black one instead
?

I'd say it has potential, maybe cut some custom black vinyl decals to go with some of the tribal markings of the fairings. That's what I would do.

I was thinking sort of the same thing; I am going to try to get out the painters tape and paint only all the vertical angles black on the cowl and just leave the horizontal plain section white, if that makes sense

I would do it with vinyl first so if you don't like it you can try another design. Then once you get it how you want it maybe look at paint.

I love the 2016 White and Black color scheme! My opinion is that the cowl looks weird sitting on the black -- but if you like it, rock it man!

I think it ties in the color scheme perfect!!! But you should go with your gut feeling and do or keep whatever color you want.

I think it looks pretty sharp from the side but the top would definitely benefit from some decals!

As long as you like it everyone else can suck it. We don't buy motorcycles purely on a rational decision so why should styling be? Unless of course your goal is to impress others in which case, godspeed.
