My Leo Factory Ti / Carbon Slip-On...

Just installed it tonight...

Not that big of deal...But I had to undo some of the subframe bolts to "hinge" it up out of the way a bit to allow for the old exhaust to slide UP and OFF...Then I was home free...

Bought this from More Power Racing (online)...Shipped ASAP...It was right around $600 shipped. Leo just got them here in the states. Great build quality...It all lined up perfectly...Can't use the heat sheilds anymore...But like my others in the past, the aftermarket exhausts generate less heat. Let's hope it's OK...Doesn't mention it in the guide...But the heat sheild will not fit with the pipe. I also removed the side pieces of plastic to allow view of the can with the "Leo" nameplate...

Let' see how it sounds tomorrow...Kids are sleeping tonight!!

awesome! i live about 20 miles from the Leo Vince distributor in North America. A week before the 07 showed up in dealerships, I got a glimpse of Doug Chandler's Leo Vince-fitted 07 RR at Kyle Racing being dynoed. I overheard the tech saying, " damn, 120 horses at the rear wheel".

Initial report:

Sounds nice and deep...Love the look, etc. BUT...

Seems pretty loud without the baffle installed...Not bad...Just like a RACE pipe. I may try the baffle to see how quiet it is...Fine for the track or most people...Maybe I am getting OLD...I am also used to using ear plugs on the racetrack. Maybe that's all it is...

I don't remember the mirrors buzzing at all...They do around 6K and up...

I never have ridden a stock 600 that power wheelies up so easily...Roll-on and at about 8-9K the wheel comes up. No effort at all...What a mid-range!!

Love the bike...

That's a great looking pipe!

+1 on the FE kit though...

All they sell now is the EVO II...The only difference is there is a removable baffle with the EVO II...I was told by Leo USA that this is the only model for sale here...No extra charge for the baffle...I removed it..It is fairly loud. I am going to try the baffle and see how much quieter...

LOVE the exhaust though...Quality is top notch.

I have also asked why there is only a Leo emblem on the left side...I will get another emblem and install it on the right side...

How do you like the sound on it? That's my favorite exhaust right now I just can't decide on whether to get the slip-on or the full system. I don't know if it's worth all that extra cash if I'm only using my bike for the street.

I really like it...

It sounds nice and deep...But suprisingly louder than most of my race systems (on my race bikes)...I have the baffle OUT...You can have it either way. I have not tried it with it in yet...It is not obnoxiously loud, just louder than I thought it would be being only a slip-on. I have had a full Moriwaki on my 03' race bike...It is easily louder than the slip-ons on my 05' R1. A good deep sound though.

I am all about performance...BUT I really do not see the need for a full system on a street bike...You may actually lose a few HP down in the rev range (with a full system) since on the track you need more HP up high...You want more HP down low on the street...My .02.

I do not know how to do sound clips...School me on this!

Thanks!
