weight questions?

i know this probably doesnt matter but i was just wondering if the weight difference in a carbon exhaust and a stainless exhaust is worth the 100+ dollars more for the carbon. Im looking at the yoshi pipe thats why im wondering this. thanks!

They'll weigh about the same. Carbon fiber with exhausts is just for looks.

I believe but not for sure, that the carbon is just a sleeve over the stainless can so if
anything it may weigh just a bit more.

Even if there was a difference in weight that was noticeable, there wouldn't be a difference in power gained that you would be able to notice. It'd be something like 1/16lb per hp. Food and **** make a bigger difference.

not sure about Yoshimura, but my carbon exhaust is a true carbon can, and it weighs less than the stainless version.
carbon undertail exhausts are much cooler, temperature wise, than stainless steel.
