So i changed my oil following Cyclecruza video. Everything went fine until i noticed my bike not on. ( I accidently left the key in ignition however kill switch was on, Just my bike lights were on) But now when i remove kill switch and return key in ignition bike does nothing. No lights turn on dashboard, just nothing no sounds what so ever. I am freaking out. What could be the cause???
Is it cause i left my key in ignition while changing oil? (bike wasnt started of course) just lights on.
When ever i try to turn key now dash comes on slightly. its as if its a dead battery I dont have any charger is there anyway to charge batteries can i walk my bike around the street and fix it lol?
If i wait alittle dash gets a bit brighter but nothing.
How old are you? Is English your first language? I'm just trying get a baseline here.
A flat but otherwise healthy battery can be bump started, but this will need another person unless you are pretty good/confident at being able to ride a bike at super low speed.
Assuming the battery was fully charged it's an indication that the battery is basically shot - it has no reserve capacity at all. I would replace it as soon as possible.
