The Solo Cowl was pretty simple,
Grab the OEM pillion seat as the parts from that are your donor parts.
You will need some spare nuts/bolts x 2 approx 1 inch for the steel bracket + 4 nuts/bolts about 1.5-2cm.Try and get the same as what's on the pillion seat already in regard to nuts/bolts it makes for a easy swap when you need to.
Install the rubber back attachment of the cowl, pull the grommets through.
So you need to drill your extra holes for the bolts. Just use the steel bracket as your guide. Drill one hole, place nut/bolt in, this limits movement of the bracket when drilling the second hole. And yet again place nut/bolt in.
I had to do a bit of dremelling for the 4 nuts/bolts attaching the cowl together as a 1 piece item. ( it comes in 2 pieces for you to attached the brackets) I used thread lock on the 4 nuts/bolts as I won’t be pulling it apart again. Now it’s a one piece and plan to leave it like that.
Now sit back, enjoy.
