OH MY GOD . . . I'm putting a $5000 deposit on a 2bd 2ba 1 car 1080 sq.ft. townhome that's not even completed yet for . . . $392,000.00 here in San Diego ! ! ! . . . yikes ! ! ! this isn't fair :o(

Tell me about it. I know the housing cost on the left coast are out rageous (sp?). When we fist moved here (year and a half ago) we almost bought an 1800 sq ft house 4 bd 2 ba for $142,000. The cost of housing has gone up so much that same house is now $220,000. You cannot find anything with interstate access in this area for under $260,000 that is halfway decent.

I'm glad I live in FLA and not CA.

You should see the prices here in the D.C. Metro area, they are higher than CA.

thats actually pretty decent price for san diego... where at in san diego???
