Ohio riders

Not sure why Ohio is considered the midwest, but anyway....Just wondering how many Ohio riders we have here. I am in Dayton and spoke with another rider that is in Cincinnati. He is going to hook me up on some good rides in Kentucky. Let us know who else is out there from Ohio.

I've been in that area before, but just passing through.
If you wanna get some great riding done, you need to come down to Northern Ky.
There's a fellow from this board "Sideout". We plan to hook up first chance we get this spring or earlyer (weather permitting). I plan to post some Ky road pics / video. If you'd be interested in joining us, PM me and we'll schedule something.

Florence, Ky here. Won't be riding until March when my Ins. kicks back in. First thing I will do when it warms up, will be to take a trip down to Natural Bridge/ Gorge area. Has anyone done any riding there, if so, how is it?

Been a while, but just saw your post. There's some great riding around the gorge. On my last backpacking trip we found a newly paved twisty road stretching for miles through a beautiful section of the back end of the park. Can't wait for it to warm up so I can give it a run on the bike.

all i can find to ride with around me is a gixxer and zx-6r

I am trying to get a RR.

I used to have a ninja zxr6, and gsx srad 750.

I really like the RR, and I just want something that looks good to cruise with.

I dont care about speed or power.

Also, I like a 600; I am not to crazy about anything bigger, Just dont see the need for it.

Second that...I ride with this fool. Northern KY is the place to ride. We ride all over tri-state area (no. ky, so. oh, & se ind)...but mostly northern ky. Come join us!

Looking forward to mid-Ohio ride to the AMA race in July staying 3 days this year.

KY22 and the roads around it imo are the best...check it out sometime. Any of you fools going up to putnam park this weekend? It will be my first rack day and I'm pumped. Hit me up if you guys would like to go for a ride...

I broke my collar bone on KY22 the year before last. Went down pretty damn hard. But the roads there are still great...all of them KY10, 22, 17, etc...we rode damn near all of them last week.

Southeast part of the state here. Near Marietta in Reno.

hamilton eh. i used to ride down there with my buddy quite often. im in centerville but ive got a friend who lives in hamilton. deff drop some pms. maybe we can get a lil group ride goin. seems weve got half a dozen or more within 40 mins

im down for sure ive been riding alone for about 6 months....you guys plan on storing yours all winter or getting out on nice days over the winter time..
if its in the high 30s or 40s im out

mines stored right now. once snow hits ill be on the slopes every chance i get. i might get her out if we get a 50 degree day but i dont have any intentions on ridin any in the next couple of months.

as for the group ride. i deffinately think we should hook somethin up for the spring time. or sooner weather pending. ill ride in 30 degree weather if need be. but mornings and nights to and from work are no fun the way i ride.

yeah a spring time ride is a must now that we all know where everyone is from,
yeah no riding for me in the morning or night its to cold i usually just get it out now on the weekends during the day...to cold at 5am on the highway haha

Dayton Here!!! So we should all set a date, time, and place in march or april when it gets warm...actually its supposed to be a warm winter so maybe sooner!!!

Bar None! The twisties around here are some of the best roads I have ridden in the past 15 years. Some of them could use some resurfacing but still great none the less. You should try 556 or 536 near Hannibal, Sardis area. WOW!!

Dublin (Columbus), got another rider ('01 SV650) who is also looking for some riding buddies when the weather gets nice.
Both of us have MSF sceduled for early April, so we'll be legal just in time for the season to start.

Its a semi-new forum...been aroung almost a year....They have meetings, rides, bike nights....lots of good, fun people...

Anybody go out last night?

It was about 60 degrees in Akron yesterday, and I was able to get the bike put back together for a little ride through the valley. I think I saw about a dozen motorcyclists out.

I am in the Dayton area, wanted to go out yesterday, but Tripage is painting various items on my bike right now, so it is in pieces. Oh well, there will be plenty more great riding days coming up.:dancing2:

the ohioriders.net guys kill me there like group ride tonight at 8pm and they post it at like 5:30 i got home and checked it out it was like 7:30 there was no way i could make it. they need to learn how to post earlier and give everyone a fair warning.

anyway, I'm new to this board & it's a shame it's taken me so long to find it. I'm a novice living in Dayton and now looking forward to hooking up with others for a ride. Not knowing the roads (a lot of straight ones round here!) or too many people in the area has been frustrating to say the least. Take care all and see you out there.
