Sony Cyber-shot® Digital Camera (DSCT7)
5.1-megapixel photos: This powerful camera gives you the freedom to create extra-large prints.
Super-slim body: The ultra-compact body—as thin as 3/8”—makes this the perfect camera to tuck in a pocket or purse for high-quality photos almost anywhere.
2.5" monitor: The enormous 2.5” LCD gives you a high-resolution view while shooting, with great brightness in direct sunlight and large, easy-to-read menus. Unique in such a compact camera, this large screen makes it easy to share image playback with friends.
Smart Zoom function: This camera features 3x optical, 2x digital and 6x combined zoom. Smart Zoom lets you focus on the subject of interest by cropping the image size—avoiding the image degradation of typical digital zooms.
Magnifying Glass mode: With its close focusing capability (1cm) and oversized LCD, this camera can display images at over 3X actual size. You’ll be able to shoot close-up, macro photos like never before.
Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® lens: This specially-produced lens provides rapid auto focus with appealing zoom range. This efficient lens is housed entirely inside the camera body and does not need to extend for use.
Intelligent auto-focus: By evaluating five separate areas of the frame, this camera will focus on the subject—not the background.
Capture MPEG movies: Take home movies with 640 x 480 VGA resolution at up to 30 frames per second. Go ahead and shoot away—the length of your audio/video clips is limited only by the capacity of your media card.
Easy print sharing: The included Cyber-shot Station lets you connect to the TV for fun, big-screen viewing, or easily connect to a USB-supported computer for MPEG video and still image transfers

yeah i know, but no warranty worries me.
Omarvelous 12-06-2005, 10:54 AM Bump for a GREAT camera...I had the same exact camera and for that price, it's literally a steal! With the money that you save you can pick up a 1 gig memory card and just flash away!!!!!!!
trbo823 12-06-2005, 11:53 AM I can include a 512 MB memory card for an extra $35. Brand new also. Never used.
To clarify. The Price DOES NOT include SHIPPING COST.
BlueBlur 12-06-2005, 08:30 PM yeah i know, but no warranty worries me.
two things... depending on what store he got it from, you may be able to add a warranty if he's got the original receipt. second: i've had a sony digi cam for 4 years now, even bought it open box, NO problems whatsoever. along with my Sony PC. they make good stuff bro and you shouldn't have an issue with it.
lil' redneck girl 12-07-2005, 01:10 AM i second that. sony is pretty damn good with their stuff! and it's such a new camera that if you did have a problem, you could always call them up and say it was a gift! see if they would forward you the warranty info!
trbo823 12-07-2005, 02:00 AM Thanks for the positive feedbacks. This camera is really nice and takes kool pics.
Aeteocles 12-07-2005, 02:26 AM Dude, screw warranty.
By the time I manage to break something, it's already old and outdated and I just use that as an excuse to buy something else.
I mean, warranty doesn't cover accidental breakage--not even normal wear and tear...just something outside the scope of "normal".
Do you plan on abusing it? Nothing of mine ever breaks if I don't abuse it.
CubbyFresh 12-07-2005, 02:34 AM The only reason i'm a bit concerned is because its gonna be a gift, if it was for me I could care less. i;m not talking about cosmetic issues
kidmoua 12-07-2005, 04:06 AM I had my Sony Cybershot for over 2years..nothing wrong with it yet..
ALL MOTA 12-07-2005, 02:09 PM I don't remember one Sony product I ever owned that had issues within it's warranty period. Heck, besides my PlayStation's loading hiccups, I don't think I've ever had issues with Sony period. I have 2 digi cams and a camcorder, all that are a couple years old. Each has taken it fair share of beatings.
I was interested in this exact camera but since I have two other "portable" digi cams, I decided to go with a digital SLR.
BTW: I know this seller personally and he's a great person. Wouldn't rip anyone off.
trbo823 12-07-2005, 06:15 PM Thanks all mota.
Omarvelous 12-07-2005, 08:12 PM WOW...I still can't believe that this is still 4 sale?!?
If I didn't have one already...I would've definitly snatched this up!
I have one of these in black, I love it. Keep it in my pocket all the time. People can't believe that it's a camera when they see it.

Hmmmm??? You read my mind! Hahahahahahaaaaaa!!! I was thinking about getting it for my gf too by the 15th. If it's still available by the 15th, you have dibs, but if you don't want it...I'm highly considering it!

mattvirus 12-08-2005, 02:08 PM can i buy the 512mb memory stick alone from you? :D
Omarvelous 12-08-2005, 02:11 PM Can you get 1 gig memory sticks for it too?!? if so...how much?!?
1gb sticks are like $70 on ebay for it, I have a 512mb, and wish I would have gotten the 1gb. 512mb allows you to take 6 minutes of tv quality video.

Oh yeah...for the memory sticks, I'm only open to the ones made by Sony. For that electronic stuff, I'm not really into 3rd party companies. But keep me posted, and I will do the same in reference to the 15th!

Give me your shipping info and ill look up shipping. I put $25 cause some people are from the East Coast and its cost more and i ship 2-3 day priority so it doesnt take a week to get the item(i hate it when people send it ground and takes freaking 7-10 days).
