what have you guys seen for 07 as far as flushmounts go?
I've seen the hotbodies, but I don't like how they sit so far in.

How do you guys get away with having non DOT approved lights? Cops in Virginia bust us all the time for having non-DOT approved lights.

I'm waiting for some pictures to be posted of the different options besides Hot Bodies because they are not very visible...

I'm looking forward to the Protons. They said they will be out by the end of the month and they do stick out a bit. I don't care for the Greggs or the Hotbodies. I'm not sure I'll get the protons but currently they look promising. I know someone who has them on their 1000RR and they look good.

Lockhart Philips flushmounts for 06 1000RR fits my 07 600RR. I got mine off my friend's 1000RR and installed it. It's not the best option but it's free.

NOBODY bothers us here in GA. It's great.

Hey that blue rimtape (Assuming that is what i am seeing) looks REALLY good man!

Yeah, I would like a close up of the rim stripes. Does the color match exactly? And where did you get them.

I saw in a Euro PDF that there are original OEM rim stripes, and a Honda OEM tinted wind screen available in Europe from Honda.

the LPs are sick, I love em on my 05, looks like perfect fit for 07 too. LEDs super bright available with clear, amber, or smoke(like mine)

all these 07's are makin me fiend for the new bike. If they had black with tribal, it would be all over

Honda, just buy these:

and quit obsessing about your turnsignals. You have better stuff to work on!

lol..I know I have better things to buy, but I hate the big signals. But I don't want something that sits so inside the fairing like the Hotbodies.
I think I'm done spending money for now. Got my rear sets on there, Puig screen, ordered some Galfer lines, and that'll be all until I get my wheels on there.

If anyone is interested, I disassembled the stock signal stalks:

Attached the HB Flushmounts on them:

With some work, the end result was:

I know, I know, defeats the purpose of "flushmounts" but they are now much more visible from all angles than when they were recessed. I don't recommend the HBs.. it was an impulse buy in my desperation to replace the hideous, orange stockers. That said, I will be installing some turnsignal mirrors in the near future and using the HBs strictly as running lights.

My Hotbodies came with a bunch of nylon washers. I used them to get the signal on the very edge of the pocket. Not as far out as yours but much better. I think they are pretty good for the price. At least they are bright for LEDs.

The problem with the Hotbodies is approaching cars wont know you are turning. How many accidents have happened while a car turns right in front of an approaching bike. I use these, and they are like a Camera flash when they are on.

Here is a pic of mine, you definitely know my intentions when these are on!!!

A friend of mine compared his stock 07 blinkers to my LED and mine were brighter than stock. Just not as much surface area.

I'm not trying to be rude, but what does approaching cars knowing you are turning have to do with a car turning in front of you? That doesn't seem to make any sense.

I have those blinkers you showed on the rear of my bike. They are pretty darn bright. ^^^ and they are universal.

They are universal, I mounted them in the "front hole" or the Bolt Hole on the stock blinker. It is the smallest hole of the 2. For the Extra Hole I used a black plug from Lowes to cover it up.

Todd, Did you wire it up so you have the running lights or just signals? Just curious. I bought HB flushes but haven't installed it yet since they sit way inside... barely visible from the front when the signals are on.

Ichiro, That looks good. Is the stock stalk sandable? I think if I can sand it at an angle so that when you mount the HB's... it'll look flush to the fairing. I might try them out and see.
