We have 2 more days this year at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

On Sunday we'll be riding Thunderbolt, then head over to Lightning for Monday.

Right now, the plan is a big dinner to happen Sunday night over on Lightning... probably around 6:30PM.

Right now, the price for both days is $425. No membership fee or anything.

We are extremely FIRST TIMER friendly with lots of extra attention given to those that have never ridden on the track.

But.. All RESPONSIBLE track riders are welcome.

Those looking for "race" practice or feeling the need to show how fast they are by "buzzing" slower riders need not apply.

After a handful of years riding (and a couple off), I finally got around to a track day. Unfortunately I couldn't get the GoPro going since I only had the suction cup mechanism.

I got in 3 x 15 minute sessions, and a 30 minute session (almost too long) at Summit Point Main circuit.

I had just gotten brand new Dunlop Q2's installed 3 days before track day, and I installed new EBC's in the rear. I would like to upgrade my front pads, and my brake lines. I am hoping to get in another track day next Monday (Labor day).

Get your team set prior to the event as NJ MiniGP will not be pairing riders up the day of. We will be exhibiting all weekend at the AMA races, so you can come see us at our booth at the bottom of the entrance bridge. Also, let's all remember that this is indeed minibike racing and Honda will not be in the stands looking to sign the next Hayden. :D Stick within the displacement rules and have a great time.

I'll be posting some pics hopefully and doing a follow up post on the experience. I've been reading threads on body positioning and such. What I've taken from what I've read is make sure to hang off the bike enough for the turn, keep the inside arm close to the tank, don't force your knee out to drag it, keep your chest close to the tank in turns and try to kiss the mirrors, and of course to look through the turn?
