I don't think it was his tires. I believe the Mohawk was distributing to much wind over his back, causing an air pocket and when he started to break the sound barrier he wasn't ready and lost control. Or it was the tires.
To his credit, he had some gear on and seemed to come out of it ok from what's visible. Might've been a better idea to spend the money on the helmet spikes on tires first, though. Hope the rider's alright.
All the guys on that hill go mad if anyone uses their footage or name with out putting some their way. I've seen their comments and posts and they get serious real quick.
Either he was going for the rare slick conversion from OEM as was mentioned above, or he really doens't give a crap about crashing.....thinking so what man I still have a mohawk.....
It's like finding out your chick has aids and a smoker in the day.
Pretty sure your just going to call out the aids.
