It looks like RTV because it is... there is no gasket. Just use permatex ultra grey on it...

yea clean the surface with brake clean and apply a small amount of RTV let dry for a couple mins and fill back up and ride

There you are again with advice on saving time, but doing the job wrong. It may be fine to do it that way when you know exactly how much sealant to put on but remember that anybody that is asking the question will not have the experience to get it right. They are almost certainly going to put way to much on.

OP: As Bullast said, thin bead, throw it on with the bolts a little over hand tight, give it a few hours to flash off then torque it up to spec and let it set overnight.

RTV should have a good 24 hours to dry before running hot engine oil through the motor. Last thing you want is RTV balls in the motor.

Clean the surface areas well and apply a uniform bead. Tighten the bolts a little bit and let it dry as recommended on the tube. Torque to spec and let it sit for the 24.

Fill it with oil and ride. Hope it works for you.

You will need to remove old gasket sealant from both the surfaces. Oil pan and its mating surface on the engine block. You will not be able to do it in 10 minutes. How successfully it will seal will depend on how well you clean the surfaces. If you do not clean the surfaces, then the new sealant will not seal properly. Take your time and do it right. You will have to use something like steel wool to make the surfaces look almost brand new. Or, you will have leaks again. Good luck.
