My '93 AWD Talon is pushing 524whp with a 54trim and run 10's all day long. The 4G63 motor is a strong block to build on.

I'm sure you're at sea level to run tens but I'm 6,000 ft above sea level so everything here has a hard time breathing so I ten up here is very impressive.

I've dragged a 2008 srt-10 viper 2 times on the 600rr, won both times, and was still pulling on him when it was over (both from about 20mph to 120). That car has a 8.4 litre v-10 with 600hp and 625lbs/ft. The viper wasn't that far behind me, but was definetely slower.
A guy on a litre bike getting beat that badly by even a 750hp car is ridiculous, he instantly shoots backward everytime he shifts. No doubt that car is stupid fast, but a litre bike ridden properly is no slouch.

I ain't saying that Talon isn't fast, but like everyone else here has said--your buddy doesn't even know how to ride that bike. That ZX-10R is a beast of a bike and should have walked that Talon no problem. The second run kinda looked like your buddy let off, there is no way that car kept pulling that strong. I have raced some cars that are built SIMILIAR (not exact, but have turbos and crap) to them and I have left them in the dust with the 1000RR.

Who the hell clutches shifts after 1st in a drag race?!?!?! I wanna run my SRT-4 against that Talon from a roll lol....GT35R built stoker motor runs 10.7 off a tree with slicks which is pretty damn impressive for FWD
but ya even a stock ZX10 will run high 9s all day with a good rider...even at 6000 feet he should be keeping up with a 10s car....please refer you're friend to this thread so he can relize he can't ride and he might want to consider looking into a how to clutchless shift tutorial lol

i have had 3 10rs the 04-05 ( good years :)) and i can personally tell you with a good rider, anything under 850hp isn't takin one down, my z06 barely pulled away from mine, maybe like 1-2 cars max at around 200
however, i can ride the **** out of my bike, that person cannot :)
give him props for a pretty fast car though

If that car is a GSX and all wheel drive and the driver can launch correctly then he'd give you a run for your money.

It's a TSi with a 2.0 L Mitsubishi 4G63 motor, GT35 turbo, welded center diff, tuned on E85.

Rider error. The ZX-10 is good to 110 in 1st, the rest of the gears get you the other 50 to 60 mph.

TRUE that! Colorado sucks for racing! But anywhere else we own cause we shave off an extra second so the talon is very much running 9's! We drink at a high alt, we go somewhere else and we out drink a lot of people! So i take the back GO COLORADO
