I recently moved to the Las Vegas area where it's always sunny with little or no rain. In fact, the sun shines so much my roomate said some bars offer free drinks on days that the sun don't shine, lol. Instead of rain we get wind, wind, and more wind. Windstorms that rattles your doors and windows and can last for days at a time.
So what I need is a durable cover for sun protection but can stand up to frequent windy conditions. While I like the Walmart gas grill cover idea, I don't think something that isn't a snug fit will survive for long. Anyone here found a good product for weather like this? The bike will be outside all the time, no choice.
Any full cover will be a risk with the wind for tip overs... Have u thought about one of those cheap plastic sheds at wal*mart? find one that ur bike can fit in and stake it down really well possibly?
Just look for any high quality bike cover and you'll be fine though.

that looks like it would blow off with even the slightest breeze.
this is what i have. best cover ever. survives FL hurricane season winds with ease. beads off water and has an extra strong elastic band at the bottom. they're discontinued but i found one on ebay for $55 http://www.ebay.com/itm/motorcycle-c...#ht_500wt_1169
Yeah I pounded in some metal tarp grommets to mine on the bottom. That way I could run bungee cords through it. Works even better now.
