gauge cluster and tail light not working?

alright so i go to startmy bike today and the cluster is not working so i check other electrical headlights are working my front signals are working but usually they are running lights also and that feature is not working my running tail light is not working when i use the front brakes it will turn on the signals work for it but the rear brake does not work the rear brake light is IT i checked the connections to that and they are all tight and checked my fuse box and all fuses are fine what should i be checking on? also the only thing i did last night was i took the battery cables apart to put on a battery tender and the cluster worked after that

Meter your fuse or switch it with another. It can be bad and you can't tell by looking at it.

You can leave them in just use continuity setting and listen for the beep.
