speed restricted 04

hi guys please can some body help me i got a Jap import that is speed restricted TRUST me it is befor anybody says its not, 180km and no faster.
Ok so i found the wiring on cdi and gave a snip great it goes past 180 but as i go through the box say from 3rd it cuts and goes back down to 180 1st n 2nd and into 3rd 200 no problem as i hit 8000rpm in 3rd or any other gear there after it cuts, so is it like the TL1000s that are restricted through gear box as well?
i no on the NSR250 you can trick bike into thinking its in second or some thing ,same as the TLs can any body help me please i no speedo corrector so on, but wana no can it be done with out one so onas most stunt riders ive heard buypass it some how. do ineed to add a resistor? if so where to where?

your restricions are in the ecu. try finding a usdm ecu for your year bike.

hi guys look i no it can be done rep[lacing ecu not a option like i said i no stunt riders remove it some how n i have left posts but no help, or they dont wana share secret.
but please keep me in mind, if you hear anything.

guys ok now im stuck got her today road her pushed past 210 easy, then went back up went through box no problem easy no problems then all of a sudden FI light on and bike wont go past 180km so now im not sure any ideas oh no blinks fi just stays on
