Hmm, I'm visioning a Avatar CGI film that may look visually appealing but will fall flat on it's face story wise.

To tell the truth, I don't think they could screw it up any more than Lucas himself has done since starting the prequels unless they bring back Jarjar.

I was pissed about it at first as well, but then I read into it and it seems alright.
First of all, had he not sold it, it'd be done with. He said that this way, it gets to live on, which makes sense.
Secondly, the person in charge of them is like one of his right-hand board members, with him as a primary consultant on the project(s).
As far as the quality of the films and story lines are concerned, I don't think anything is going to change.
Just some business aspects, profits, rights ownerships, etc.

As long as it stays original then I won't mind. But I don't want to see a rip off of another movie. Which is all Disney has been doing lately.

Doesnt Disney own Miramax also? If so, i dont see any disney influence in movies like Kill Bill and No country for old men.

What the hell is episode 7 gonna be about? They should just kill the franchise and be done with. The prequels were horrible and the real Star Wars to me are the OG episodes.

I hope they don't follow the Luke Skywalker story any longer. They've created a whole galaxy so there must be somebody else in it with more personality.
