Weird tire tear
So I did a track day 10/21 and my Dad notices a weird tear on my rear tire. I used to commute with the bike but since March it became a dedicated track bike. I haven't switched the tires out since I figured I might as well use it. Of course after I went down on the first lap of the first session I decided I need better tires for the track.
Anyway, here are some pics of the tear. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Looks like the seam where it was put together.
Don't know how many miles you got, but might be worth it to contact the manufacturer for a damn refund.

Because it is across the entire tire I would say it is a seam. Are the tires old?

It's the seam where the tires are put together. I've seen these on new tires. I wouldn't freak out about it. But if you want to be sure take it to a dealer (that you trust) and ask them for their opinion.

Looks like a boxcutter, if I remember right the seam goes down the middle of the tire not like that

I've had a couple Dunlops do that to me. I actually got replacement tires for free.
