So we all know about this sprocket change.
I just wanted to ask if I was riding wrong or what not.
1) Is it just me or is it really really hard to open the throttle little enough to go below <15 mph? I feel like the smallest twist I can give is already going 15+

Aloha brah,
I'd just cruise in 2nd or 3rd gear in that case with almost no throttle.
One thing I hate about the islands, speed limits are too slow! (55 on the H3? What is that?) Even all thru Ewa Beach its like 25...on 6 lane roads LOL

It should be LESS of an issue with the sprocket change.

I don't follow the speed limit :D, people can't drive here, thats why the speed limit is so low

Are you really doing 15? Without a speedohealer or similar it will go to 15 when you might be doing 5-8mph.

This. When you change your gearing your speedometer is going to be off slightly

I've a speedo healer and Ive had a bike before without and I know and can feel the difference. Like I know how 10mph feels and 20 feels etc.
Its easy to go slow with throttle and clutch.
just thought if it was doable with jsut throttle

I'm lost because I don't know why people get the sprocket conversion in the first place. To reduce throttle sensitivity? OP, why'd you do it?

I didn't. Bought the bike recently and the previous owner had it set up to "make faster acceleration"
