cagers around here are generally very understanding and patient when it comes to motorcycles. they make space when i lane split, and patiently wait when i skip the 50 car queue and push in in front, etc.
this mornng though, i got 3 ladies in expensive suv's trying to prevent me from splitting. they were minutes apart on my commute but they all seem to be pissed at their hubbies or something, and refused to make way.
then 2 dudes in bmw changed lane in seperate incidents and nearly took me out. the last guy appologised.
drivers seem to get worse when the weather gets colder. i noticed it when i was splitting to and from work on fri. i think they just don't expect motorcycles to be out during inclement weather. stay safe, and always try to leave yourself an out.

we've got all out summer here. i think the heat must be getting the guys all sweaty and irritated, but all those fancy suv's has climate controll so those sun-shines-from-my-ass drivers cant blame the heat
I don't filter above about 25mph...it doesn't matter the weather there will always be twats, i just wait right on their tail so we both in agreement we see one another and we both agree he's the twat that could move and doesn't...even if we agree on this visually with my angry expression
Funnily enough there's a biker at my work who displays a think bike sticker, great, but she leaves her foot brake on and blinds me in bad weather when we arrive at the same time, she doesn't indicate turns, just swings out in the car park, brakes with no indication she's about to do so, apparently you can't even count on your own, I may tell her to take that sticker off one day if she's not even going to 'think bike' herself...I have spoken to her she's a fellow honda rider...just not all the time all year like me
even on motorways with my lane clear, when i pass other cars i go as wide as possible in case they pull out, im gonna be worse off at 70mph even if it isn't my fault...
Women in range rovers, landrovers, SUV's etc though...bad combination, stear clear, sorry to the women out there for generalising but im going on experience

yea this morning i was communicating with the first lady regarding how little space i need to pass, but she persisted with her my-sunglasses-are-bigger-than-yours stare, not responding.
I generally steer well clear of the SUV's. For some reason they will always try and prevent/block you from lane splitting. Oh and when you cut to the front at traffic lights these guys (mostly the big V-8 SUV's) will always try and drag-race you.
Ahhh I hate that I've had people do that and move over till the light turned green and its like really who the f are you to controls the roads dumb f*** I just get as close as possible and when I pass I slow down right in from of them for a mile till they pass and yell and become all tuff in the saftey of their car.. Just idiots being idiots.
