Just ordered a Syed leather suit

Just went and had Syed himself take my measurements for a custom one piece suit. Now the wait is on. I went ahead and got the hump and back protector as extra add ons. From looking at all of his pre-made suits and talking with Syed, his work is top notch. I defiantly recommend him. The next three weeks are going to be a killer!

Neve heard of them so I looked it up. Looks like they do amazing work. Custom fitted and colors. I bet that suit will be super comfortable.

I thought you mistyped suede

mm could go SLIDING down the road with that, no worries! ...NAAT

So how much is custom compared to dainese? Could I get a custom suit done(pants/jacket) thats as good or better protection than the Laguna Seca for the same or less price? (£809/$1294)

Custom is pretty great - fitment enhances protection by leagues.

You'll have to search around for your local suit makers - here in southern california we have a couple, and there are some new style startups that operate nationally by having you give your measurements to them.

Then, some suit makers make their suits in house, some outsource materials and plans and then have the product sent to you. Debating those two things is another matter entirely.

Custom suits can range from USD $700 to $3000, typically. If you have more $ than that, Alpinestars or Dainese would be happy to work with you.

yea but im not fat or freakishly small or tall so the regular 48 dainese cut is so fitting anyway, no need to get dainese to make a custom suit, other than colors really, since their color choice is poor most of dainese race stuff is black, or white, but the laguna seca white is too white for my liking, I like the draken 2 peice white/red/black, thats just right, but knowing i could've got all the features of the laguna for just a tiny bit more would annoy me

the guy in store recommended the laguna for my riding, and not because it cost more or because he didnt have the draken in at the time, but for valid reasons he showed me, but color could push me to draken

now if i find a used one or a sale, that'd swing it in any direction :) finding the new styles used is a needle in a haystack though!! he showed me a 90mph crashed jacket, guys sent it in to have the titanium redone on the shoulder, he's fine from his crash and so is his jacket, money well spent on stuff like dainese if you ask me! not tried alpinestars but from the pictures it doesnt look like dainese type fit...

Just picked it up yesterday, I love this suit! It fits me perfectly and has so much ventilation. The arms were a little big when I first tried it on but Syed was able to make them smaller in about 20 mins for me. So happy with the way it turned out. Definitely recommend him to anybody thats looking for a high end suit.

On another note, congrats on the suit. Looks great and the pic is cool. The slider looks like a square of chocolate but it's probably because I am just hungry.
