From the pic on the TechSpec website, it seems they have the same material tank protector also. Don't see it listed as an item to buy though.

If you want clear the best quality brand would be stompgrip. If you're okay with something that isn't clear then techspec C3's by a mile :fact

For those of you who have the Techspec Snakeskin, do any of you ride in jeans? I only ride in jeans and was wondering if it'll be rough/uncomfortable or ruin my jeans.

I hear only StompGrips are sometimes aggressive on clothes, but not a single complaint so far I have seen on here about TechSpec SnakeSkins being abrasive on clothes.

By the way do all SnakeSkins come with that middle tank part? I was about to order a Pro Grip tank pad and realized what the hell, it would be a complete waste if the grips come with a center part????

I only ride in jeans and havnt noticed any damage. They just grip extremely well no roughness or pain from them. Just squeeze against the tank and ur locked in. Used to rack my nuts on a daily baisis riding now i never slide forward. Techspec is the best!

I forgot to ask, for you guys that have them, how are they in terms of maintenance? Are they easy to clean? Is cleaning the bike/tank any harder with them on? TYIA

Oh, i forgot to mention...wear your old pair of jeans first few times as some of the color rubs off. Inside of my knees/thighs turned slightly dark but i was able to wash it.
