License Plate Setup

What do you guys think of this setup?

License Plate by SurgeRR, on Flickr

I definitely like it more than the standard rear fender but I'm guessing it would create problems when leaning.

IMO it looks terrible. But....that's just my opinion. I liked the R&G Tail Tidy on my 1KRR.

I think with time the number plate is either gna fly off or get bent (happened to a friend), for some reason this is one of the most common number plate mounting styles in the gulf region

looks nice, however to me that tail tidy isnt tidy enough, I prefer when the turn signals are integrated in the tail, and the number plate more towards the inside

Don't like the swingarm plate, too chopper like. However I do like x's plate, it's easy to read so no hassle from cops, it's how I have mine but I did it using hose clamps.

Don't like it at all, it just sticks out like a sore thumb imo, but everyone has different taste so who care what others think as long as u like it.

Um, dudes, that is a Fireblade, not my bike. I saw it at the dealer's and decided to take a pic and get your thoughts on the setup, mine's is stock. ToroPop's setup is absolutely awesome, can speed cameras get the numbers from your plates when they are that deep??

the wind resistance on OP pictured bike will rip that thing off eventually, not even to mention it getting cought when negotiating tight spaces

Thankfully not unemployed, but something tells me you are .

Yeah, I pretty much sit behind a computer all day and make the world work

I do pushups every hour.

I'm glad I created this thread; lot of steups I was completely oblivious to. ToroPop's first one (like Eurodriver's) is definitely going to be my setup sometime soon.

Looks terrible imo, something that belongs on a chopper. Just don't complain later how you get harassed by cops because of it.

I have the same setup as ToroPro. It's a great setup! I love it. When you sit down, it rolls back so reading the plate is half impossible. Definitely have been pulled over for it but I play dumb as any smart person would to avoid a fine.

Also, cameras do not catch it, that's for sure. I tried it out and found out that cameras can't take its picture. It's super nice jetting across a tolled bridge at $3.50 one way during rush hour for free :D. If a scenario were ever to make me nervous, I simply put my hand back and pulled my plate up into itself.

i got one in 2011, wasnt even a full under tail, i just had the tail cut shorter on my track F4i, i was in between street bikes so i rode it on the street for a few weeks. everything else was legal.

i now just keep most stuff like that stock to avoid the cops.

I've saved at least that much in red light and tolls this month. I'll take my chances.

I would probably add a little strip of a black tape on your huger where the wheel makes the contact.

I gotta admit Toro - you're a fuckin genius
