You're a d1ck, lol. I was hoping for a positive review to put the nail in the coffin on my choice to buy them or not. Now I gotta spend my mod money elsewhere!

Boooy you can't handle the truth !!! Aha
But yeah . That's my opinion really. They are not as gripping as I heard . If you have any buddys that have it on their bike. I would go try it and get a hands on feel on them, or go see if any your local shops stock them.
Anyone who has the tech c3. Please feel ffree to add your experience on this thread as well. And you who's using crg lever, feel free to add on to as well.
I have to say I HATE my C3's... In fact I just replaced them with some "Amazon sold - Moto tank pads" (stomp Grip rip offs?) and man they are 100000000x better..
I was extremely disappointed in TechSpec with the C3.. My buddy has the snake skin ones and they are awesome, however the C3 IMO are straight failure.
- DONT buy the C3's..

I would have to agree too,
My buddy had the other version which I believe was the tec spec snake and yes those are better, felt like grip tape, but theses that I'm reviewing, try do suck.
Thanks for the review, nutty. I am looking into Techspecs and Stompgrips. I'll stay away from the C3's.
From what I gathered the Techspec Snakeskins are the way to go over Stompgrips?
The reason I chose the c3 over the snake skin was because I wanted a less abrasive surface so it wouldn't wear my leathers in that area. I still have faith in tech spec, just next time around I'm ordering the snake skins.

i wouldnt say the snake skin over stompgrips, but all in all the snake skins is better than the c3 i have, if i had a choice i would get the snake skin, stomp grip, c3..in that order
I've had all three - StompGrips, TechSpec C3, and TechSpec Snakeskin. Hands down, the best grip is provided by the StompGrips, and it looked fine with my black bike.
After getting a nice Dainese suit, I switched to the TechSpec C3 (when they first came out), and they wore down pretty quickly. Even worse, mine actually started tearing on its own.
Luckily, I emailed TechSpec with my problem and they sent me a set of the TechSpec Snakeskin as a free replacement.
I've had the Snakeskin for about a year now and they do just fine.

Recently added the techspec snake skin, 100 percent better than stock . Iam able to ride much more controlled and best of all not rack my nuts on the tank. Easy install, function far outweights the costs.

Also.. on the '07 600rr the CRG brake lever is a little off. you might have bad luck with the clutch and maybe I have bad luck with the brake, but I had to add a washer on the brake lever where it pushes the "plunger thingy". What was happening is the brake light switch stays activated, so it either looks like you're ridding your brakes, or worse, other cars don't know when you're braking because the brake light will always be on. a small washer between the pin from the master cylinder and the brake lever mount fixed the problem. I noticed you didn't have that problem but you're on an '05.
Great levers though.. I love them.

Any one thinking about crg shorty levers should buy them. They make my hands feel so much better. They are built with precision and quality components. They were a breeze to install. Well worth the extra money compared to the cheap chinese knock offs. The new crg design looks killer on the bike, no more silver perch. They are fully customizable for color of lever, adjuster and length.

You know I was thinking the same thing initially. But now that I have been riding a bit I like them better and more confortable. My last bike had the Snakeskin style. I find the new texture actually grippier.
