Just my .02 stomp grips always start peeling off. I went through two sets on my kawi track bike.

If anyone's got the clear stompgrips or black techspecs on a Tribal I'd be grateful to see pics. I'm thinking the snakeskins for me and curious how they look.

Can't recommend TechSpec C3

I personally am disappointed with my C3s. I've had them on the bike for a few thousand miles of street riding. They have worn somewhat smooth and have lost that lovin' feelin'. I may take them off and get the Snakeskin, if not Stomp Grips. I actually have the Stomp Grip lower strips on the black plastic below the tank (i.e., below the TechSpecs), and they help nicely when hard braking, since my knees are down there when my feet are busy on the foot controls. Even though the C3s have lost their grippy surface, they are not useless. Since they are squishy, I still get grip from squeezing my knees. But I would not buy them again or recommend them to others....

BTW, I wear jeans all the time when I ride.

hey Fly, could you measure up these spots on your pad so I can get an idea of how it'll fit?

Got mine Saturday but still waiting for the weather to warm up a bit before I put them on. Instruction recommend application at above 80 degrees. That means I'd have to wait another 6 months. I know you can use a hair dryer to heat up the tank a little, but what about the 12 hours after application (suggested curing time). The tank will get to garage temp (about mid 50's. Will it be ok? Really don't want to bring the bike into my keeping room for this.

Stompgrips

I've got a set of the clear Stompgrips on mine and they are fantastic especially on track.

Finally got it installed last night. I love this product. Works really well in the corners, but I especially love it when braking hard. Keeps me firmly planted instead of sliding forward like I use to. Installation was super easy. Also make the bike look much more aggressive IMO.

Lookin good, make sure you let us know how it retains grip after a number rides, durability is key.

I've had no issues whatsoever with my Stompgrips. I just took my time fitting them and made sure both the tank cover and Stompgrips were warmed thoroughly before applying them to ensure a strong bond.
