Ouch...

I donít think you going to find any post with PICS on this site for the bazzaz install.

The info from the link posted pretty much helps you out. I understand pictures are worth a thousand words but in this case any info helps.

OR you can be like me and shoot by the hip.

Arrow "Collector"

Hey BB,

Did the same install last night... I put mine together (all springs too) on my work bench and installed it like a one piece header - why didn't you pull the radiator? Or did you?

Damn, Thanks for pointing that out RLNYC, but I think they just sit like that, but I'll look at it now.

BTW installing PC-V tonight - that install is way more of a bitch than the headers - Def have to pull bodywork, tank, air box and all those plugs omg! I should just do the PAIR mod since it's all apart right now.

Fuel-Moto set me up with a "Full race Arrow pipe" map on a PC-V for the 08. Should be sweet...

Got my Arrow header from Cycle Sector, on today, couldn't have completed it in one day without this thread.
Thanks Brownings.

Also installed PC-V from Fuel Moto. Thx

My problem now is now with my 110 oil filters, they are right at the header. :(
Anyways, I'll deal with it when the oil needs to be changed.

Went for a test ride, butt-dyno feels like a there's more power especially top half of the RPM's.

Will the factory oil filters work with this Arrow header or are you guys using something else?

Yes the stock filter will work along with the Mobil M1-108, SuperTech 6607, HiFlo HF204, and K&N KN204.

Actually just make sure you get the OEM size and not the longer filters.

so excited to get them I figured I would bump this thread.

Any of you guys get new gaskets for where the headers meet the block?

Im no expert...but there should be those copper crush gaskets....new ones should technically be used each time you put new headers on any engine. They are only a couple bucks each.

Yeah, you need new gaskets. I'm pretty sure the manual says you need new gaskets.

I did when I installed my headers.

Why wouldn't you replace them? Theyre fairly cheap and it's better to replace them while installing the headers than to not replace them and find out you have a leak when your exhaust system is all bolted up.

I've ALWAYS gotten new gaskets. Dealers normally don't stock them and will have to special order them, so you might want to get your order in now so they'll be here by the time your headers come.

Ok. I'll order some tonight. Headers should be in late next week or early the following week. (they have to be shipped all the way from Cyclesector in San Diego to the Ottawa in Canada)

Hopefully there is no pending winter storm any time soon

Yeah, a lot of the time they get stuck up against the block. I had to pry mine out with a screwdriver, gently. Good thing copper is pretty malleable!
