Have a D&D exhaust but looking to swap for yoshimura or leo vince, what do you think.

I know if I ask which is better I will get many different answers so I ask whats the big differences between the two? How different do the two sound from another? I looked up sounds on youtube but cant really tell the two apart. Right now I have a D&D dual outlet but it came on the bike when I bought it and its just a tad to loud for me. I found both the yoshi and the leo for about the price used, but with the yoshi being a little cheaper buy about $50 and the leo is in slightly better shape.

Just seeing what some of you guys think would be the better pipe for price, sound, etc...

Also if anyone is looking for a D&D slip I'll be posting mine up later on today.

I know what you're talking about.

As much as i love the scream of my 2Bros over 7k RPM that's how much it annoys me at lower RPMs. I even purchased the db killer for it which did the trick for awhile but i still got tired of it.

Sooo i just ended up buying a used stock muffler on eBay and so far i love it. It has a really nice deep growl at lower RPM but not too loud.

Meanwhile, if i find a LeoVince in a decent shape i may buy it or swap my 2Bros for it.

Love the looks of Akrapovic but LV sounds the best in my opinion (based on youtube videos)

This is the video that made fall in love with LV. Use some headphones if you don't have good speakers

I'm almost sure the years are interchangeable, because this is off a 04 1000rr. I'm posting pics as we speak.

Mine is an 07, but I don't think they made a d&d for my model. Mines off a 04 1000rr.

I have the Leo on my 07 and love it! I like the yosh too but the price difference lead me to the Leo.

i'm in your same boat! when i bought mine, it came with a two bros. liked it at first, but it just doesn't sound like a "rocket should" to me. my c/f leo just came the other day, cant wait to put it on this weekend.

i like the leo on my bike! not overly loud without the baffle and when you do have the baffle it sounds stock under 7k rpm and over 7k its just a tad louder.

Definitely Leo. They both sound good, but the Leo is defiantly better, not only in the sound dept buy also the looks dept.
