I am actually finishing up doing an H1 projector retrofit for a customer and here are the LED strips he is using, same ones as the OP.

The side emitting LED's look like this: ( this is from one of my R6 retrofits)

I just got the side emitting ones and I like the top ones way better.

I keep looking at this and I'm starting to get pissed cuz I got the side emitting ones and they don't look as nice as the flexible strips. I got the flexible strips first but only got 9.5in strips so I returned them and got neutral white side emitting ones.
Will side emitting ones look worse than flexible? I'm going to pair them with white halos with 6000k projectors. I have the kit downstairs

I like it a lot. The main reason I bought it was because I wanted to take the weight off the forks when I store it for the winter. If you have issues with the standard front stand not holding the bike well, the attachment is definitely worth it because it is a secure way of lifting the front.

I think it's really all about taste man. I've seem people go with side emitting and they love it, but I personally like the flexible strips.

Ok I'll check that out. I just wanted leds that were bright white wih no tint of blue and I wasnt sure how the oznium flexible white would look. So that's why I did side emitting neutral white with no tint of blue.

So there is an issue with is mod that I should mention to anyone who wants to do this mod. The LED strip is quite large for the area within the headlight so it pushes for space against the reflector piece. This will cause issues unless you move the reflector by turning the screw to make the headlight aim higher (this moves the reflector a little up to give the LED some space).

It looks very nice when done but it will become a problem for other drivers, especially since I have HIDs.

Therefore I am planning to order the side emitting LEDs (since they are more flexible) and place them on the bottom of the headlight instead of the top. This way the headlights can aim lower and become more "friendly" towards other drivers, and cops.

I will update with the progress as I go.

LEDs are attached inside the headlight using the 3M double sided tape that comes with the LED strip.

Finally got around to solving the issue I mentioned. The LEDs inside the headlights took up space and therefore forced the reflector in the headlight to aim higher.

I figured out a solution. Those flexible LED strips I used can be cut shorter (it can only be cut in groups of 3 lights). After cutting the LED strip down 3 lights, it didn't take up space from the reflector anymore and I am able to aim the reflector as I please easily.

As you will notice in the pictures, it LED strips are slightly shorter. Hope this helps anyone who might be doing this modification in the future.
